On saturday 20th of November 2004, the Budo Jitsu Federation of Serbia and Montenegro has organized the Open Championship in Jujutsu. Members of Serbian Budo Council (SBC) and Ju-Jutsu Federation of Serbia (JJFS) have also participated, with 5 competitors in Fighting System. (There is no Duo system in Budo Jitsu Federation). Also, referees from SBC/JJFS were invited to this championship: Dr. Ivica Zdravkovic, Goran Jaksic and Slobodan Saric.

There were over 80 competitors on the Championship, from clubs in Zemun (Belgrade Police College), Novi Sad, Perlez, Sremska Mitrovica, Pozarevac (Shinbukan dojo, Hombu of SBC), Petrovac, Despotovo, Backi Jarak and Doboj (Republic Srpska, Bosnia & Herzegovina).

In discipline of self-defense the most successful club was from Sremska Mitrovica, under guidance of Aleksandar Alimpic, member of Board of  Ju-jutsu Federation of Serbia and member of Serbian Budo Council.

In fighting system the most successful were the hosts, students of Police college, while the second and third place went to guest teams from Doboj and Pozarevac.

All representatives of JJFS who are indirectly members of SBC and Shinbukan dojo Pozarevac (including Jissen club in Petrovac under guidance of Srdjan Ilic sensei, president of SBC) won medals. These fine competitors are:

1. Biljana Mirkovic (Jissen Budo club Petrovac) - Gold, females over 70 kilos
2. Biljana Ilijevska (Shinbukan) - Gold, females under 58 kilos
3. Aleksandar Stojkovic (Shinbukan) - Bronze, men under 69 kilos
4. Nikola Misic (Shinbukan) - Bronze, men  under 77 kilos
5. Vladan Stojkovic (Shinbukan) - Bronze, men under 62 kilos.

The first four on this list are invited to representation of Ju-Jutsu Federation of serbia, and are also the representatives of Serbian Budo Council - and as such should compete on the upcoming international Rucanor Cup in Slovenia.
